We are honored to announce an international seminar themed "Harnessing Coconut Potential for Offsetting Carbon Emission - Integrating Science and Economy for a Sustainable Future." This collaborative endeavor between the ICC and the Faculty of Agriculture at UNSRAT seeks to underscore the coconut industry's central role in climate change mitigation. By merging scientific research with economic strategies, the seminar aims to investigate the capacity of coconut cultivation for carbon capture, targeting not only a sustainable future for the planet but also amplifying global sustainability measures. Such efforts can contribute significantly to the economic advantage of coconut-producing countries.
